My Birthday Socks

These are my birthday exhange socks from my best girlfriend, Deby. Aren't they beautiful?? She made them with Tofutsies yarn and her current pattern of the month, Blackberry for Tofutsies. The beads are so cool looking like little berries. I saw the box when I pulled up from work laying in front of the garage door in the rain. I hurried to rip it open and was relieved to see they weren't wet. They were perfect and not just dry but so pretty! The next thing was to rip off my current socks and try them on! I love them!!!! Thank you Deby!

Plain Socks

I really like these plain socks. They are made of Lana Grossa Meilenweit Mega Boots Stretch on size 3 needles. I hadn't done socks on 3's since I learned to knit socks 6 years ago. Boy they went fast, they are cozy and comfy and I think I just might have to make another pair soon for a quick knit fix!

Adorable Bib

Isn't this little bib just adorable?? I recieved my weekly newsletter from Threadbear they had this link http://downcloverlaine.blogspot.com/ for these bibs. My daughter is due for our second grandson at the end of June and I thought "how perfect" I have already cast on for a second bib out of Sugar'n Cream kitchen cotton on size 6 needles.

Question on Tilted Duster

This is a message to Gloria,
I wanted to thank you for your comment and answer your question. The only way I had to reply to you was by posting on my blog.

I absolutely loved working with Aussie wool and the pattern calls for a bulky weight yarn. I didn't have any problems getting gauge. I love the texture of the fabric and my Tilted Duster is so far my favorite sweater. Thank you for asking the question.
