I am just a gal who loves to knit and spin in my spare time and thought it would be nice to share my projects with everyone.

Peach wool/mohair

This is peach and yellow wool/mohair blend that I have had in my stash for over a year. The colors are bright and springy. I only have about 1200 yards in a dk weight. I am not sure what it will become but it will be there for me this winter when I do most of my knitting. This picture was taken before I washed and dried my skeins. I washed up beautiful!

Rug Yarn

I have some burgandy/green llama roving that I am spinning into a chunky yarn and hopefully it will make a nice woven rug. I am not very good at spinning chunky, I tend to spin a finer yarn such as lace to fingering weight. The colors are perfect for my house and the llama should wear nicely. It might take some time until the project is complete but I have a good start on it with two skeins of about 150 yds each plied. The colors on my monitor are not true. They are much deeper and richer jewel tones.

Ribbon Tank Top

I have a brightly colored ribbon tank top on the needles. My best friend, Deby sent me the ribbon yarn and I saw a tank top when I looked at it. I love the bright colors!!!

I have been so busy lately (spring and yard work!) that I haven't been on the computer alot to post pictures of my projects. Below are the various items I have been working on.

These three dish towels are the first ever off of my new loom. They aren't perfect but I love them just the same. I am anxious to find the time to warp again and start making some rugs. I have some beautiful llama roving that would make the perfect rug in my house. Now to get spinning!

More Cloths

More new dishcloths and a face cloth.

Felted Clogs

I finished these this morning for a friend.
