Neighbor Hoodie Vest
I am almost finished with my Neighbor Hoodie vest by Deby Lake. All I have left to do is add the zipper. It was such a fun quick knit and I really enjoyed it! I used a chunky yarn, Marble by James C. Brett which is an acrylic and size 10.5 Knit Picks needles.
On the needles I have a little wedding bag for my daughter who is getting married next month and my "Lady Jane" vest both were also designed by Deby. The wedding bag is a free download on her site. I have a pair of socks on the needles and a runner on the agenda for a friend of the family. I suppose it keeps knitting interesting with lots of different projects in the works.

I love the colors for your vest! Awesome. It did turn out cute. I bet it looks great on. Thank you so much for knitting my patterns Cheryl. You are a great friend.
Cant wait to see your bag.
Nice vest! I have a zipper question for you. I made a knitted vest once and put a zipper in it. It made the fabric wavy along the zipper line. I was guessing I must have used a zipper that was to long and I must have stretched it out making it wavy. Have you ever had a problem like this? If so would replacing the zipper with a shorter zipper make it less wavy? If you have any helpful tips for me you can e-mail me at runningmom22 at yahoo.com. Thanks.
The colors in your hoodie are so pretty! It turned out beautifully. I am amazed at people like Deby who can design such beautiful garments and accessories. I look forward to seeing photos of your daughter's purse and your runner.
